For a New Zealand student visa, Sri Lanka applicants must:
- Hold an offer of place from an approved education provider
- Show tuition fees are paid for one course or one year of study
- Show enough money for living costs, or an acceptable sponsor
- Have insurance acceptable to your education provider
- Be in good health and of good character
- Have a genuine intention to study
- Show you can leave at the end of your stay
English test results are not a visa requirement, but your education provider will usually ask for IELTS, PTE or TOEFL, and good scores help show you are a genuine student.
